甘肅衛(wèi)生職業(yè)學(xué)院是甘肅省唯一一所醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生類高職院校。其前身是創(chuàng)建于1935年1月的甘肅省立助產(chǎn)學(xué)校，學(xué)校堅守醫(yī)療戰(zhàn)線，幾經(jīng)蟬變，甘肅省衛(wèi)生學(xué)校、甘肅省中醫(yī)學(xué)校、甘肅省醫(yī)藥學(xué)校、甘肅省農(nóng)墾中等專業(yè)學(xué)校先后加入，游子歸家，攜手奮進(jìn)，走出了一條由小到大、由弱到強(qiáng)的職教奮進(jìn)之路，贏得了社會的廣泛贊譽(yù)和認(rèn)同。
Gansu Health Vocational College is the only higher vocational school of health sciences in Gansu Province .Its origins can be traced back to the Gansu Provincial Midwifery School, founded in January 1935. Over the years, the school has undergone several transformations. Gansu Health School, Gansu Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) School, Gansu Pharmaceutical School, and Gansu Nongken Secondary Vocational School, these four schools with similar educational directions and majors have gradually merged to form a larger and stronger collective, working hard together to earn widespread recognition and respect for the vocational education efforts in society.
2024年以優(yōu)秀等級完成省級首批“雙高”建設(shè)。現(xiàn)有蘭州新區(qū)、蘭州市城關(guān)區(qū)鹽場路、蘭州市七里河區(qū)西果園、武威黃羊鎮(zhèn)4個校區(qū)，占地面積1537.92畝，全日制在校生1萬余人，教職工總數(shù)635人，教學(xué)、生活、體育等配套設(shè)施齊全，辦學(xué)條件良好。
By 2024, the college has successfully finalized Gansu’s first "Double High" (high-level higher vocational institutions and majors) construction program and achieved an outstanding level in the assessment. It now has four campuses in total,including main campus in Lanzhou New Area as well as branches on Yanchang Road, Xiguoyuan Area and Huangyang Town in Wuwei, covering 1,537.92 acres. The college boasts more than 10,000 full-time students, 635 faculty and staff, and well-equipped teaching, living, and sports facilities.
學(xué)校開設(shè)有臨床醫(yī)學(xué)、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)、中醫(yī)學(xué)、針灸推拿、護(hù)理、助產(chǎn)、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)技術(shù)、醫(yī)學(xué)檢驗(yàn)技術(shù)、醫(yī)學(xué)影像技術(shù)、藥學(xué)、中藥學(xué)、藏醫(yī)學(xué)、康復(fù)治療技術(shù)、老年保健與管理、中醫(yī)康復(fù)技術(shù)、智能醫(yī)療裝備技術(shù)、眼視光技術(shù)、醫(yī)學(xué)美容技術(shù)等18個專業(yè)，形成了門類較為齊全的衛(wèi)生健康高職教育專業(yè)群。其中，護(hù)理、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)技術(shù)兩個專業(yè)被教育部認(rèn)定為《高等職業(yè)教育創(chuàng)新發(fā)展行動計劃（2015—2018年）》項目骨干專業(yè)建設(shè)項目；護(hù)理、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)技術(shù)、藥學(xué)、助產(chǎn)等4個專業(yè)被甘肅省教育廳認(rèn)定為甘肅省職業(yè)教育高職骨干專業(yè)。
The college offers 18 majors, including:Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, TCM, Acupuncture & Massage, Nursing, Midwifery, Dental Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Pharmacy, Traditional Chinese Pharmacy, Tibetan Medicine, Rehabilitation Treatment Therapy, Geriatric Care & Management,Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Treatment Therapy,Intelligent Medical Equipment Technology, Optometry, Medical Cosmetology.
Among these,Nursing and Dental Technology were accredited as key majors under China’s "Innovative Development Action Plan for Higher Vocational Education (2015–2018)".Additionally, Nursing, Dental Technology, Pharmacy, and Midwifery were designated as provincial-level key majors by Gansu Provincial Department of Education.
學(xué)校堅持科研興校，構(gòu)建了“院士進(jìn)校園、博導(dǎo)入課堂”的學(xué)術(shù)交流機(jī)制，打造科研品牌，在國家社會科學(xué)基金、國家自然科學(xué)基金、中國醫(yī)藥教育協(xié)會重大攻關(guān)項目中不斷創(chuàng)造佳績，有力有效支撐了學(xué)校內(nèi)涵發(fā)展。
The college emphasizes research-driven development, fostering academic exchanges through initiatives like "Academicians on Campus, Professors in the Classroom." which effectively supports the connotative development of the college. Recently years, notable success has been achieved in projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, National Natural Science Fund, and China Medical Education Association, supporting its growth in academic excellence.
學(xué)校與國內(nèi)大學(xué)廣泛開展合作，與北京大學(xué)、蘭州大學(xué)、甘肅中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)合作辦學(xué)，開設(shè)有護(hù)理、醫(yī)學(xué)影像、醫(yī)學(xué)檢驗(yàn)、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)等專業(yè)本科層次成人教育，形成了大專與本科并存、普通教育與成人教育并存的多元化辦學(xué)模式。學(xué)校致力于職教出海，積極響應(yīng)“一帶一路”倡議，先后與日本、德國、菲律賓、巴基斯坦、伊朗等10余個國家的高校和機(jī)構(gòu)建立了合作關(guān)系，打造“中日介護(hù)（養(yǎng)老護(hù)理）”人才培養(yǎng)合作品牌，開設(shè)護(hù)理專業(yè)“中德班”，共建“中德國際衛(wèi)生職業(yè)教育師資培訓(xùn)交流基地”與“中德國際護(hù)理人才雙向?qū)嵱?xùn)基地”，與菲律賓亞洲圣多米尼克學(xué)院、巴基斯坦巴哈瓦爾布爾伊斯蘭大學(xué)、伊朗庫姆醫(yī)科大學(xué)簽訂合作協(xié)議，亞洲圣多米尼克學(xué)院將學(xué)校作為“一帶一路醫(yī)學(xué)教科研基地”，巴基斯坦大使館為學(xué)校頒發(fā)“中巴教育國際合作突出貢獻(xiàn)獎”。
The college widely collaborates with leading universities, including Peking University,Lanzhou University, and Gansu University of Chinese Medicine, offering adult undergraduate programs in Nursing, Medical Imaging, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Stomatology.This creates a diverse educational model combining vocational training, higher education, and adult education.Internationally, the college actively engages in the "Belt and Road" initiative, partnering with institutions in Japan, Germany, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, and others. The projects include"China-Japanese Elderly Care","China-German Nursing Class",China-German International Teacher Training Base, China-German International Nurse Exchange Base.Besides, the college has signed agreements with Philippines’Asian St. Dominic College, Pakistan’s Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and Iran’s Qom University of Medical Sciences.Meanwhile,school is recognized as one of the "Belt and Road Medical Education & Research Bases" , awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to China-Pakistan Educational Cooperation" by the Pakistan Embassy.

Meanwhile, the college is also affiliated with the name of Gansu Health Cadre School, which provides continuing education and remote medical training for primary healthcare workers, serving as a key base for medical technician development, scientific research,medical information exchange and continuing medical education.
